About the creator of Maze Story

My vision is to create games that spark the imagination and challenge the mind, just like video games, only without screens.

Games children love, and parents feel good about.

The story behind Maze Story

Who I am

Hi, I’m Ori.
I’ve spent over 7 years creating Maze Story.

My background is in product building, video game development, and countless hours of real-life play with my nieces and nephews.

How it started

It started with a simple idea:
Could I create the immersive feeling of a video game, but without a screen?

I tried the first version with kids close to my heart, and something clicked right away. The room got quiet. Not bored quiet. Focused quiet. They were completely absorbed, and for much longer than I expected. Their parents were surprised and thrilled. The kids were engaged, their minds were working, and it was all happening without screens.

That was the moment I realized this was not just a book. There was something special here. Something genuinely good.

How it evolved

So I decided to take that idea to the next level and build the best video game without screens I could.
I kept improving and refining it with the help of dozens of children, again and again, until it became an immersive experience with story, rules, surprises, challenges, and a little magic.

Maze Story

Now, after many versions and years of development, one of my favorite parts is hearing from parents about what happens after their kids get to play the book.

So if you’re looking for something that brings a good kind of energy into your home while helping your kids build focus and flexible thinking, I’d love for you to give Maze Story a try.
For them, it’s an adventure. For you, it’s quality time, calm focus, and those little moments of “wow” when they solve a page on their own.
